The preheating section of the MDO (Machine Direction Orientation) unit is where the film reaches its optimal stretching temperature and the rollers here are far from ordinary metal cylinders.

3. Ceramic & Tungsten Carbide Coatings Ultimate Hardness

For the highest wear resistance, these are the answer. Applied via thermal spray, they far exceed chrome in hardness.

Can be ground to Ra 0.01 for critical positions
